Being ugly is to devalue another’s life, worth, identity, intelligence, ability, one’s safety!

Being ugly is demeaning a person’s worth and diminishing their identity because of your narrow perceptions of a person based on looks, their size, ability, culture, sexual orientation/preference, age and immigration status.

Being ugly is when you feel you have the right to choose how to take away someone else’s right for choice….taking away someone else’s right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Being ugly is…

…Abusive

…Bullying

…Harming Children

…Harming Seniors

…Harming Women

…Harming the innocent and the defenseless

Being ugly is when you choose to damage others character or property…hurting others…choosing to hurt others…PERIOD!

Stop the hate…stop the insensitivity!

Be beautiful. You can be beautiful…but it’s a choice.

Beauty is empathy, understanding, inclusive behaviors and actions… belonging. It’s the genuine act and resolute attitude to being a kind person…a connected human. 

Beauty is…

Seeking out and enjoying the company of others who do not look like you, worship as you, have similar preferences as you, yet sharing the common purpose to spread good not evil…being good not evil…being love not hate.

Yes…I’m calling on ALL of us to learn from each other and support one another. Speak up for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging…for civil and human rights…That’s beauty!

Speak out against injustice…That’s beauty!

Our calling is for all of us to be beautiful beyond skin deep and encourage others to be beautiful humans because we choose to “love our neighbor as ourselves”!
