I love fur coats! Real and faux…fluffy, curly, smooth and straight…with long or short fibers. I mean, they are the best accessory (yes accessory) and the best compliment to your outfit. Especially for those of us who live in regions that transition into colder climates. I often get asked how I style my coats. Well, it starts with my base outfit. Usually a blouse (when the temperatures are moderate), sweater or turtleneck (for colder temperatures). Then I select my shoes or boots. Again, for colder climates, I’m typically wearing boots during the fall and winter seasons. Then based on the weather, I select the coat. I love curating my coat collection and adding to it with styles and colors that will work well with many items in my closet, while keeping my aesthetic relaxed and minimal.
