Welcome to Session 5…Releasing Your Inner Strength – A Quick Guide.
We all have incredible inner strength, but sometimes, we encounter challenging circumstances that might make us question the power we have within us. So, how do you not only tap into that strength, but live in it daily?
Here’s four steps to release your inner strength:
- Step 1: Recall Past Triumphs. Take a moment to remember a specific time you overcame a significant challenge or achieved something difficult. Reconnect with the feeling of success and the resources you tapped into.
- Step 2: Identify Your Core Values …Again!. Your deepest strength often comes from living in alignment with what truly matters to you. When faced with a difficult decision, ask: “Which choice aligns most with my core values?”
- Step 3: Practice Mindful Breathing. When stress hits, your breath is your immediate access to inner calm. Take a few deep, slow breaths, focusing on the inhale and exhale. This simple exercise will clear your mind and ground you.
- Step 4: Seek Supportive Connections. Surround yourself with people who believe in you, lift you up, and remind you of your capabilities. Their encouragement can be a powerful amplifier of your own inner strength.
